Calendar Capture

Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 3, 2026

Overview

Calendar Capture helps you extract calendar events from text, images, and PDF files on iPhone and Android. It can help you create events for Apple Calendar and Google Calendar. This app does not operate a custom backend that stores your submitted content.

What data is processed

When you choose to parse content, the selected text, image, or file is sent directly from the app to Google's API services for processing.

How data is handled

Calendar Capture does not save your submitted parsing content on an app server. Processing is done through Google APIs, and Google may process data according to its own terms and privacy policies.

Data retention

This app does not maintain server-side storage for your submitted content. Any local data remains on your device unless you choose to share or export it.

Permissions

The app may request access to photos/files you choose to upload and calendar access if you choose to add events to Apple Calendar or Google Calendar.

Third-party services

Google APIs are used to parse content into structured event data. Please review Google's privacy documentation to understand how Google handles request data.

Policy updates

This policy may be updated over time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
